I'm a multidisciplinary frontend engineer, product designer, and team lead working at the crossroads of people, technology, and design. Over the past decade, I've helped companies validate, prototype, and develop digital products while giving teams the clarity and support they need to perform at their best.
I'm a multidisciplinary frontend engineer, product designer, and team lead currently living in Cuenca, Ecuador: a beautiful place full of rivers and vegetation, and wonderfully unpredictable weather. I'm originally from Peru, another extraordinary place, known for its delicious food, Machu Picchu, and countless other wonders.
When building products, I lean towards minimal interfaces with purposeful functionality while making them feel as accessible and as natural as possible. Bringing both disciplines together (engineering and design) helps me create interfaces that work beautifully for the people using them.
As a team lead, I care about making good work easier to perform. I help teams align around the problem, make newcomers feel welcomed, create a healthy space for different perspectives, and turn thoughtful decisions into steady progress. For me, leadership is a mix of setting direction, removing friction, and helping people grow with confidence through communication and ownership.
Lately, I've been exploring media creation and the idea of making a podcast or starting a YouTube channel. I'd like to share what I've learned from over a decade of remote work, and encourage more people to explore product design, development, and thoughtful leadership.
